Panagia Tou Sinti Monastery
Location: Pentalia Village - Paphos - Cyprus
The monastery of Panagia tou Sinti, in Pentalia was built in 1542. It is a beautiful Byzantine monastery, which was inhabited by monks for the last time in 1927 and is abandoned nowadays. Panagia tou Sinti is located on the banks of the river Xerox and used to be one of the most important establishments of the Venetian period in Cyprus. Panagia tou Sinti was renovated during 1994 - 1997 and received the award of Europa Nostra.

Ayios Neophytos Monastery
Location: Paphos District - Cyprus
The monastery of Ayios Neophytos is 9 km north of Paphos. Founded at the end of the 12th Century by Cypriot hermit and writer Neofytos, carved a home for himself inside of the mountain rock. The Monastery is located below the grottoes and is home to only a handful of monks. The Monastery also contains a collection of icons and the remains of some 16th century frescoes. Every January the monastery hosts a two day fair where you can buy Cypriot crafts, foods, and monastic goods. There is also live music too.

Panagia Chrysoirroyiatissa Monastery
Location: Paphos District - Cyprus
In Paphos district, about 40 km east from the main road to Polis, there is the idyllic monastery of Chrysoroyiatissa. This monastery is famous for its excellent wine.
